T1 is a digital transmission link that runs at 1.544 Mbps and provides for 24 data channels. The term "T1" is used interchangeably with "DS1." S.I. Tech T1/E1 to fiber modems can be configured to support either multimode or single mode fiber. The ST connector is standard and other options are available. The following WAN products support T1, E1, T3, E3, and STS-1 transmission systems.
