Electrical/Electronics Engineering Consultant
S.I. Tech, a high technology manufacturer of fiber optic communication equipment such as modems (media converters), time division multiplexers, Local/Wide Area Networking products, Video/Audio/Data products, Repeaters, Ethernet Switches, needs an E.E. Consultant for advanced hardware/software design projects.
Hardware design involves specific interface design, high speed logic design, digital/analog circuit design, EPLDs, FPGAs such as Altera, EMI/RFI, grounding product development methodology, experience with use of various CAE/CAD tools, Fiber Optic transmitters/receivers designed to match system requirements.
Hands on experience is a must.
Present products cover a broad range including RS232/422/485, various field buses, Ethernet 10 to 1000 Mbps, T1/E1, T3/E3, USB1.1, USB2.0, IBM Systems, CCTV Video(analog & digital), optical repeaters up to 1 gigabit and so on.
S.I. Tech specializes in fiber optic products only. These products are manufactured in the USA for the world market. Company is located in the Fox Valley area near Fermi National Lab.
