Problem
How many 2128 devices can be cascaded and is the data regenerated at each stage?
Solution
You can go up to 32 devices maximum and the data is regenerated at each unit; however, you do have optical jitter
which is additive in a series setup. Therefore, there is a practical limit to the number of units you can place
in a series. The optical jitter is very low at each unit.
