Problem

We have CCTV cameras which use Coax and feeds to a computer recording the CCTV event. This is what we need to do.

Take Feed from CCTV Camera(s) coax to S.I. Tech Model ??? and convert to Fiber SM then take to home site and receive in S.I. Tech Model ??? convert back to coax. Our fiber is single mode and the distance is less than a 1/4 mile.

Solution

For CCTV, S.I. Tech models 2809-SM and 2810-SM will work. These units will convert from coax to single mode fiber and back to coax again.
