S.I. Tech, Inc. started production in 1984 in Batavia, IL USA of fiber optic communication equipment such as modems, multiplexers, LAN/WAN equipment, and fiber optic cable assemblies. For over 40 years the company has significantly expanded fiber optic products for various applications. Now company offers over 200 different products that are application specific such as video/audio, telemetry, energy management, security, and long distance communication over 50 Km distance.
The company is a major supplier of fiber optic communication equipment for national defense in USA and NATO countries. S.I. Tech is also supplier to NASA since 1984. Company products are designed for slow data rate such as 2400 bps up to 10 Gigabits as used with today’s data centers. Many installations require switching from multimode to single mode fiber, S.I. Tech offers fiber optic repeaters and multimode to single mode converters. S.I. Tech has been on the leading edge of this technology since its early years.
S.I. Tech products are used in 40 plus countries around the world from running simple computer networks to space/national defense applications.
